Alejandra Cardozo
Born in Barcelona, Alejandra Cardozo holds a degree in Catalan from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2024) and a master's degree in Catalan Language and Literature from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona (2025). She is a predoctoral researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, currently engaged in a dissertation on the Lletra de reials costums under the supervision of Josep Pujol. She has been a temporary lecturer in the Department of Catalan at the University of Barcelona.
In 2025 Alejandra collaborated on the project "The Futures of the Past: Getting to Know the Middle Ages", directed by María Morrás (UPF), which aimed at facilitating access to primary textual sources of medieval literature. Her line of research focuses on Catalan translations from the late Middle Ages, with particular empohasis on the translation of Jean de Mandeville's Livre des merveilles du monde and Petrarch's Familiarum rerum XII, 2.
